Daniel Ullrich began his career in 1999 as a Business Developer in the eSports segment. From 2004 he supported the development and marketing of OnlineWelten - one of the largest gaming portals in Europe.
Following the acquisition of OnlineWelten and restructuring of Frogster Online Gaming GmbH in 2008, he served as Director of Product Management, instrumental in the successful launch and operation of Frogster’s flagship title „Runes of Magic“. As CMO and Managing Director, apart from international licensing of new products he was also leading in several other areas including product management, marketing and monetization. In this position he was responsible, for planning strategies for the publication of TERA, RaiderZ and other titles, among other things. Following the acquisition (~ $95 M) of the Frogster Group by Gameforge AG towards the end of 2010, Ullrich was also involved as a consultant to the parent company.
In August 2012 Daniel joined Infernum as a member of the board and COO. Infernum started the development on Project Theralon and successfully released Dragon's Prophet, Brick-Force and Hazard Ops to European and North Amercian market.
Before Infernum got acquired by Gamigo AG, Ullrich joined the Bigpoint Management team as Studio Products Director and Head of Product Management. Beside the entry of Drakensang Online in the Asian markets, different marketing projects and followed by the acquisition of Bigpoint by Youzu Interactive, Ullrich rolled out Youzu’s flagship IP League of Angels 2 to western countries.
